Veriphy
Veriphy is a set of agent skills and a Lean 4 toolkit for machine-verified math and physics, from a single theorem to a whole paper.
It treats both SageMath and the agent as untrusted. Sage finds what is expensive to find, like coefficients or closed forms. A script turns that into a Lean tactic block, and the Lean kernel accepts it or rejects it. A Sage bug or an agent’s mistake can waste your time, but it can’t produce a false theorem. The finished proofs are plain Lean and build with mathlib alone, so CI never needs Sage.
You give it a statement in plain language:
/veriphy:prove the partition function Z(β) = 2cosh(βh) satisfies ∂²(log Z)/∂β² = h²/cosh²(βh)
The agent states the claim in Lean. Lean can’t tell whether that statement means what you said, so the agent translates it back to English to compare, then tests it in Sage. Only then does it try to prove it. You get a proof, a counterexample, or a report of what blocked it.
For a draft or a paper, /veriphy:research goes through every claim and writes a verification appendix. A theorem is only as strong as what it rests on, so one that relies on a lemma Sage merely tested gets a lower level, and the report names that lemma. There is one limit: nothing checks that a claim in your prose and its Lean statement say the same thing. You have to confirm that yourself.
You’ll need SageMath and elan. The README has the install steps.
